تعمّجV ; and عَمَجَ , Verbal.Noun عَمْجٌ; He wound, or bent, in going along, or in the road, to the right and left: or عَمَجَ فِى سَيْرِهِ signifies he proceeded in every direction, by reason of briskness, liveliness, or sprightliness. And تعمّجت الحَيَّةُ The serpent wound about in its course. And تعمّج السَّيْلُ فِى الوَادِى The torrent wound in the valley to the right and left.
