تغاضىVI
He contracted, or put together, his eyelids, that he might not see an evil, or unseemly, thing.
2 And [hence,] تغاضى عَنْهُ i. q. تَغَافَلَ [i. e. He was, or he feigned himself, unmindful, &c., of him, or it]: like تَغَابَى عنه: mentioned by Az.
