def.2 تغمّر He drank from a small cup such as is called غُمَر: he drank a small quantity of water: he drank less than would satisfy his thirst: he drank the smallest draught, less than would satisfy his thirst: he did not satisfy his thirst with water; said of a camel, and of an ass.
