تِقْصَارٌ and تِقْصَارَةٌ A necklace, or collar, or the like, syn. قِلَادَةٌ, resembling a مِخْنَقَة: so called because it cleaves to the قَصَرَة [or base] of the neck: or a مِخْنَقَة proportioned to the قَصَرَة [or base of the neck]: pl. تَقَاصِيرُ.
