ثَاغٍ

Full Definition

ثَاغٍ [part. n. of ثَغَى: and hence,
2 ] A sheep or goat [&c.]; as also [its fem.] ثَاغِيَةٌ. You say, مَالَهُ ثَاغٍ وَلَا رَاغٍ and مَا لَهُ ثَاغِيَةٌ وَلَا رَاغِيةٌ He has not a sheep or goat, nor a camel: or مَا لَهُ رَاغِيَةٌ وَلَا ثَاغِيَةٌ he has not a she-camel nor a sheep or goat. And مَا بِالدَّارِ ثَاغٍ وَلَا رَاغٍ There is not in the house any one.
