He made it eight: or called it eight. (Esh-Sheybánee, and K in art. وحد.)

3 ثمّن لِٱمْرَأَتِهِ, or عِنْدَهَا, He remained eight nights with his wife: and in like manner the verb is used in relation to any saying or action. (TA in art. سبع.)
