3 ثمّن لِٱمْرَأَتِهِ, or عِنْدَهَا, He remained eight nights with his wife: and in like manner the verb is used in relation to any saying or action. (TA in art. سبع.)
def.2 Also, Verbal.Noun تَثْمِينٌ, He collected it together.
def.3 Also, Verbal.Noun as above, He made known, or notified, [or he set or assigned it,] its price; i. e., the price of a commodity; like قَوَّمَهُ: or he assigned it a price by conjecture: and he named a price for it.
