and جَرْذَقٌ, or جَرْدَقَةٌ and جَرْذَقَةٌ, the last asserted by IAar to have been heard by him from a man of chaste speech, A cake of bread: arabicized words, from گِرْدَهْ, which is Persian, meaning “ round: ” pl. جَرَادِقُ and جَرَاذِقُ.
