جَرِيشٌ A thing, such as salt, bruised, brayed, or pounded, and ground, coarsely, not finely: or, applied to salt, it signifies مَالَمْ يُطَيَّبْ [app. meaning such as has not been purified], that crumbles; as though one part thereof were rubbed against another.
2 Also Coarse flour, such as is fit for [making the kind of food called] خَبِيص مُرَمَّل.
