جَارَI , Present.T يَجُورُ, Verbal.Noun جَوْرٌ, He declined, or deviated, from the right course; and so جارعَنِ القَصْدِ: he wandered from the right way: he pursued a wrong course: or he left the right way in journeying: and it declined. You say also, جار عَنِ الطِّرِيقِ He declined, or deviated, from the road, or way.
2 And جار, Present.T as above, and so the Verbal.Noun, He acted wrongfully, unjustly, injuriously, or tyrannically, عَلَيْهِ against him, فِى حُكْمِهِ in his judgment, or فِى الحُكْمِ in judgment.
3 جارتِ الأَرْضُ The plants, or herbage, of the land grew tall: and so جَأَرَت.
