def.2 Also, and حَرِدٌ and حَرْدَانُ , Angry: exasperated (مُتَحَرِّشٌ) by him who has angered him, and desirous of killing him: or the first, compact in make, strong, feared, or dreaded; whom, by reason of [his] disdainfulness (عزة [i. e. عِزَّة]) one thinks to be angry. أَسَدٌ حَارِدٌ An angry lion: pl. حَوَارِدُ.
