Full Definition

حُفَالَةٌ The bad, or vile, of anything: of wheat, what comes forth and is thrown away; [like حُثَالَةٌ;] and حِفْلٌ [in like manner] signifies the حُثَالَة of wheat: also, the former, what is thin, of the dregs of oil and perfume, and of the froth of milk: or it signifies also the froth of milk: and the worthless of mankind; those in whom is no good; like حُثَالَةٌ; as in the saying هُوَ مِنْ حُفَالَتِهِمْ [He is of the worthless of them].
