حُكْرَةٌ Collection and retention: this is the primary signification.
2 The withholding, or collecting and withholding, wheat, and the like, of what is eaten, waiting for a time of dearness; a subst. from اِحْتِكَارٌ; as also حَكَرٌ and حَكْرٌ . You say that the trade of such a one is الحُكْرَةُ.
3 Accord. to some, The selling a thing without knowing its measure or weight.
4 And A collection, or an aggregate.
