حَوْقَلَ
Q. Q. 1 Verbal.Noun حَوْقَلَةٌ and حِيقَالٌ, for which latter some say حَوْقَالٌ, He became aged, and languid in respect of the venereal faculty: or حَوْقَلَةٌ signifies the lacking ability to exercise the venereal faculty, accord. to Az, on the occasion of one's having his bride brought to him.
2 حَوْقَلَةٌ also signifies The being weary, and weak.
3 The state of sleeping.
4 The act, or state, of retrograding, or declining; syn. إِدْبَارٌ.
5 An old man's resting, or staying, his hands upon his waist.
6 The walking quickly, and with short steps.

def.2 And حَوْقَلَهُ, Verbal.Noun حَوْقَلَةٌ, He impelled, or repelled, him, or it; syn. دَفَعَهُ.

def.3 حَوْقَلَةٌ [Verbal.Noun of حَوْقَلَ] also signifies The saying لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللّٰهِ; (TA in art. حوقل;) i. q. حَوْلَقَةٌ.
