خارفهُIII , Verbal.Noun مُخَارَفَةٌ and خِرَافٌ, He bargained, or made an engagement, with him, for work, for the خَرِيف [or autumn]; from الخَرِيفُ, like المُشَاهَرَةُ from الشَّهْرُ; as also عَامَلَهُ مُخَارَفَةً and خِرَافًا: and so اِسْتَأْجَرَهُ مُخَارَفَةً and خِرَافًا [He hired him, or took him as a hired man or a hireling, for the autumn].
