خَالِبٌ , applied to a man, Deceiving: and in like manner, [but in an intensive sense,] خَلَّابٌ and خَلُوبٌ and خَلَبُوتٌ and خَلَبُوبٌ Very deceitful and lying: and so, applied to a woman, and خَلُوبٌ and خَلِبَةٌ and خَلَبُوتٌ and خَلْبَآءُ very deceitful: خَلَبَةٌ is a pl. [of خَالِبٌ], and means men who deceive women. You say also اِمْرَأَةٌ خَالِبَةٌ لِلْفُؤَادِ [meaning A woman who captivates the heart by the most blandishing and deceitful speech].
