And خذّل عَنْهُ أَصْحَابَهُ, Verbal.Noun as above, He incited, or induced, his companions to abstain from, or to neglect, aiding him, or assisting him.
2 He induced him to be cowardly and weak-hearted, and to abstain from fighting.
