Full Definition

خُمَّانٌ and خَمَّانٌ , or خِمَّانٌ , What is bad of household goods, or furniture, or utensils; and of trees. Also the first and second, or the first and third, The refuse, or the low, ignoble, or mean, or the bad, of mankind: the lowest, basest, or meanest, sort, and the mass, thereof or the weak thereof. You say, ذَاكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ خُمَّانِ النَّاسِ and خَمَّانِ النَّاسِ That is a man of the refuse, &c., of mankind. [See also خُمَامٌ.]
