; He pounced down, or made a stoop, upon the prey, or quarry, to take it, or seize it, making a sound to be heard with his wings. And خَاتَتِ العُقَابُ, Present.T تَخُوتُ, Verbal.Noun خَوَاتٌ, The eagle made a sound by the motion of its wings [in pouncing down].
