دافّهُIII , and دافّ عَلَيْهِ, Verbal.Noun مُدَافَّةٌ and دِفَافٌ; as also دَافَاهُ, which is of the dial. of Juheyneh, altered from the former, and ذافّهُ; and , or دفّف عَلَيْهِ, Verbal.Noun تَدْفِيفٌ; as also ذفّف عليه; and عَلَيْهِ, Present.T دَفُفَ [or, accord. to rule, دَفِفَ ]; [as also ذَفَّ عليه;] namely, a man, a captive, or a wounded man, He despatched him; i. e. hastened and completed his slaughter; or wounded him so as to hasten his death.
