دَبُوبٌ

Full Definition

دَبُوبٌ A she-camel that can scarcely walk, by reason of the abundance of her flesh, and that only creeps along, or walks slowly: pl. دُبُبٌ.
2 Fat; as an epithet applied to a she-camel, or to any thing [or animal].
3 One who creeps about with calumny, or slander; as also دَيْبُوبٌ : or the latter signifies one who calumniates, or slanders, much, or habitually; as though he crept about with calumnies, or slanders: or one who brings men and women together; because he creeps about between them, and hides himself: i. q. دَيُّوثٌ. (M, in TA, art. ديث.)
4 جِرَاحَةٌ دَبُوبٌ A wound that flows with blood. And طَعْنَةٌ دَبُوبٌ A thrust, or stab, that makes the blood to flow.
