def.2 دَجْدَجَتِ الدَّجَاجَةُ فِى مَشْيِهَا The domestic fowl ran.
2 دَجْدَجَ بِالدَّجَاجَةِ He called the cock, or hen, by the cry دَجْ دَجْ, or, as in some copies of the K [and in the L] دِجْ دِجْ.
