دَمَارٌ , a simple subst., and دَمَارَةٌ and دُمُورٌ , Perdition: or utter perdition. You say, حَلَّ بِهِمُ الدَّمَارُ Perdition [or utter perdition] befell them. And مَارَأَيْتَ مِنْ خَسَارَتِهِ وَدَبَارَتِهِ [What sawest thou of his error and his perdition and his state of destruction?].
