ذَائِبٌ

Full Definition

ذَائِبٌ part. n. of 1, [Melting or dissolving, fluid or liquid; or] flowing; contr. of جَامِدٌ.
2 لَهُ دُمُوعٌ ذَوَائِبُ [He has flowing tears].
3 ذَائِبُ المَالِ, as opposed to جَامِد [q. v.], Such property as consists in what is fluid, or liquid: (L in art. جمد:) or such as consists in live stock: or such as consists in trees.
4 ذَائِبُ النَّفْسِ Heavy, slow, indolent, or dull, of soul; syn. ثَقِيلٌ.
