def.2 تَذْبِيحٌ is [said to be] syn. with تَذْبِيحٌ, in prayer: accord. to Hr, ذبّح رَأْسَهُ signifies He lowered his head, in inclining his body in prayer; like دبّح: and accord. to Lth, ذبّح signifies he lowered his head, in inclining his body in prayer, so that it became lower than his back: but Az says that this is a mistake, and that the correct word is دبّح, with the unpointed د.
