Poison: or instantaneous poison; as also
ذَعْفٌ : or such poison is called سَمٌّ ذُعَافٌ: pl. ذُعُفٌ.
2 مَوْتٌ ذُعَافٌ i. q. ذُؤَافٌ; i. e. A quick death; that kills quickly; and so مَوْتٌ مُذْعِفٌ .
