رَجَسَتِI , Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun رَجْسٌ, The sky thundered vehemently, and became in a state of commotion preparatory to rain; as also .
2 رَجَسَ البَعِيرُ, Verbal.Noun as above, The camel brayed: or made a vehement noise in braying.
3 And رَجَسَ, Verbal.Noun as above and رَجْسَةٌ and رَجَسَانٌ, It made a sound or noise; as also ارتجس . (TA: [but in this sense, only the inf. ns. are mentioned, and رَجْسَةٌ is probably an Verbal.Noun of un.])

def.2 رَجَسَ, Verbal.Noun رَجْسٌ, He measured [the depth of] the water of a well with the مِرْجَاس; as also , Verbal.Noun إِرْجَاسٌ.

def.3 رَجَسَهُ عِنِ الأَمْرِ, Present.T ُ and ـِ Verbal.Noun رَجْسٌ, He hindered, withheld, or prevented, him from doing the thing.
