رَفِيفٌ

Full Definition

رَفِيفٌ Shining, or glistening. (KL. [The meaning of “ dispersed ” assigned to it by Golius as on the authority of the KL is not in my copy of that work, nor is any other meaning than that which I have given above; in which sense it is app. an Verbal.Noun used as an epithet: it is expl. in the KL by the Pers. word درخشنده.]) One says also ثَغْرٌ رَفَافٌ [app. رَفَّافٌ ] Front teeth shining or glistening.
2 Applied to a garment, or piece of cloth, and to trees (شَجَر), and other things, Moistened [app. by dew or the like, so as to be rendered glossy].
3 Also, applied to a garment, or piece of cloth, Thin.
