زَافٌّ[
act. part. n. of زَفَّ in the phrase زَفَّالعَرُوسَ: fem. with ة: pl. of the latter زَوَافُّ. Hence,] زَحَفَتْ زَوَافُّهَا, a phrase mentioned by Lh, meaning اللَّوَاتِىزَفَفْنَهَا [i. e. The women who conducted her to her husband walked along gently].
