, (in the CK زِرْباب,) an arabicized word, from [the Pers.] زَرْ آبْ, the hemzeh [in آبْ, for أَابْ,] being changed into ى, Gold: or the water thereof [i. e. water-gold; which may be deemed the more correct, as agreeing with the original].
