زلّفهُII , Verbal.Noun تَزْلِيفٌ, He did it previously, or beforehand; namely, a thing; as, for instance, an evil action; and so ; syn. أَسْلَفَهُ, and قَدَّمَهُ.
2 زلّف النَّاسَ, Verbal.Noun as above, He disquieted, or agitated, the people, step by step: accord. to Z, said of a guide.
3 زلّف فِى حَدِيثِهِ, He added, or exaggerated, in his discourse, or narration; as also ذرّف.
