A wooden thing, or piece of wood, that is put, or hung, upon the neck of a dog: or a collar, or ring or collar of iron, that is put upon the neck of a dog: [pl. سَوَاجِيرُ or سَوَاجِرُ.] One says, فِى أَعْنَاقِهِمْ سَوَاجِرُ
