Full Definition

سَاغِبٌ and سَغْبَانُ and سَغِبٌ Hungry: or suffering hunger together with fatigue: or thirsty: fem. [of the second] , pl. سِغَابٌ. You say also, هُوَ سَاغِبٌ لَاغِبٌ and سَغْبَانُ لَغْبَانُ [He is hungry and fatigued, or fatigued in the utmost degree]. And it is said in a trad., دَخَلَ خَيْبَرَ وَهُمْ, expl. as meaning [He entered Kheyber] they being hungry.
