سَرَآءٌ A certain tree, from which bows are made, the wood whereof is of the best of woods, and which is of the trees of the mountains: ElGhanawee El-Aarábee says, the نَبْع and شَوْحَط [q. v.] and سَرَآء are one: (TA in art. شحط:) [it is also mentioned in the TA in art. سرأ:] n. un. سَرَآءَةٌ.
