سَوْمَلَةٌ
A small [cup of the kind called] فِنْجَانَة, which latter is a post-classical word, originally فِلْجَانَة: or the سوملة, as some say, is a small
فِيَالَجَة, an arabicized word from the Pers. پِيَالَهْ; which is also called طَرْجَهَارَةٌ; and this is the same as the فِلْجَان. (TA voce طرجهارة.)
