Full Definition

سَيْحٌ Running water; an Verbal.Noun used as a subst.: or running external water: or external water running upon the surface of the earth: the water of rivers and valleys: pl. سُيُوحٌ. [And it is used as an epithet:] you say also مَآءٌ سَيْحٌ and سَائِحٌ Water running upon the surface of the earth: pl. of the former أَسْيَاحٌ.
2 Also A striped [garment of the kind called] كِسَآء, with which one covers himself, and which one spreads: or a striped [garment such as is called] عَبَآءَة: and a sort of [the garments called] بُرُود: pl. سُيُوحٌ. See also مُسَيَّحٌ.
