سَيْفَانٌ , applied to a man, Tall and slender, like the سَيْف [or sword], lank in the belly: and with ة applied to a woman, meaning tall; resembling a sword-blade: or it is peculiar to women; [i. e.] accord. to Kh, one does not apply to a man the epithet سَيْفَانٌ.
