Full Definition

شَازِبٌ Lean, or light of flesh; slender, and lean; or lean, and lank in the belly; applied to a horse: [or] شَزْبَةٌ signifies thus, applied to a she-ass, and a she-camel: and شَازِبٌ, lean, &c., as above; and tough; applied to a horse, and to a man, &c.: or lean, or light of flesh, though not emaciated: and, applied to a man, very slender or slim or spare: pl. شُزَّبٌ, applied to horses, and [as also of شَازِبَةٌ] شَوَازِبُ. And شَازِبَةٌ A she-gazelle lean, or light of flesh; or slender, and lean; or lean, and lank in the belly; in consequence of her having come from after: pl. شَوَازِبُ.
