2 شَبَتِ الفَرَسُ, Verbal.Noun as above, The mare stood upon her hind legs. [It is added in the TA that the vulgar say شبّت: but see art. شب, where a similar meaning is assigned to شَبَّ said of a horse.]
3 شَبَا وَجْهُهُ His face shone after having become altered.
