صُدَّادٌ A road to water.

def.2 And الصُّدَّادُ The serpent: and a certain small animal (دُوَيْبَّة, S, K) of the kind of the [field-rats called] جِرْذَان: or [a species of lizard;] what is called سَامُّ أَبْرَصَ [q. v.]; used in this sense by Keys: or, accord. to Yaakoob, the [lizard called] وَزَع: or, as some say, a species of the [field rats called] جِرْذَان: pl. صَدَائِدُ, which is anomalous.
