صَرِيمَةٌ

Full Definition

صَرِيمَةٌ Land (أَرْض) of which the seed-produce has been reaped: of the measure فَعِيلَةٌ in the sense of the measure مَفْعُولَةٌ.
2 And A portion, or large portion, detached from the main aggregate, of sand; as also صَرِيمٌ : [or the latter is a coll. gen. n., being used in a pl. sense:] one says أَفْعَى صَرِيمَةٍ or [A viper of a detached sand-heap or of detached sand-heaps]; like as one says حَيَّةُ خَلٍّ. (S in art. خل.)
3 And A group, or an assemblage, or a detached number, of the trees called غَضًا, and سَلَم, and أَرْطًى, and of palm-trees; and likewise , of أَرْطًى, and of سَمُر.

def.2 Also Decision, or determination, عَلَى شَىْءٍ [to do a thing]: and the deciding of an affair, and the firm, or sound, execution thereof: or an object of want upon accomplishment of which one has decided, or determined; as also عَزِيمَةٌ: pl. صَرَائِمُ. One says, هُوَ مَاضِ الصَّرِيمَةِ and الصَّرَائِمِ [He is effective of decision &c. and of decisions &c.].
