, [a subst. from صَغِيرٌ, made such by the affix ة,] applied to a sin, [signifying A small or little, sin,] has for its pl. صَغِيرَاتٌ and [more commonly] صَغَائِرُ; being, when thus applied, a subst. [See مُحَقَّرَاتٌ.]
