صَقُورٌ , or صَقُّورٌ , (so in the O in another instance, and so accord. to the K, in which latter it is expressly likened to تَنُّورٌ,) A wittol, or tame cuckold; syn. دَيُّوثٌ: or one who acts the part of a pimp to his own wives, or women under covert; as also صَقَّارٌ : the former epithet occurring in a trad.
