Full Definition

صَلِيقَةٌ Flesh-meat thoroughly cooked, or spread to dry, (مَشْرِىٌّ, O,) or roasted, (مَشْوِىٌّ, K,) and thoroughly cooked: or a piece of roasted flesh-meat: pl. صَلَائِقُ: accord. to AA, سَلَائِقُ, with س, signifies “ roasted lambs, ” from سَلَقْتُ الشَّاةَ “ I roasted the sheep or goat. ” (TA. See also سَلِيقَةٌ.)
2 And A thin cake of bread: accord. to some, [the pl.] صَلَائِقُ signifies thin bread: but some say that it is صَرَائِقُ, with ر, that has this meaning.
