صِمْصِمَةٌ A company, or collection, of men; like زِمْزِمَةٌ; neither of which words is formed by substitution from the other: (M, TA: [in the TA in art. زم, this is said of زِمْزِمَةٌ and ضِمْضِمَةٌ:]) pl. [or rather coll. gen. n.] صِمْصِمٌ .
2 Also The middle of a people or party; and so صَمْصَمَةٌ .
3 And A rugged [hill such as is termed] أَكَمَة, of which the stones are almost erect.
