صِهْرِيجٌ and صَهْرِيجٌ, but this latter is of weak authority, and صُهَارِجٌ , as also صِهْرِىٌّ, by a change of the last letter, A حَوْض [i. e. watering-trough, or tank], or a thing like a حَوْض, in which water collects; a tank, or cistern, for rain-water: arabicized: originally Pers.: pl. صَهَارِيجُ. [See also صِهْرِىٌّ, in art. صهر.]
