Full Definition

صَهْصَلِقٌ A vehement voice. A rájiz says, قَدْ شَيَّبَتْ رَأْسِى بِصَوْتٍ صَهْصَلِقٌ [She has rendered my head hoary by a vehement voice].
2 And A clamorous old woman; vehement of voice; and so صَهْصَلَقٌ; so too صَهْصَلِيقٌ . صَهْصَلِقُ الصَّوْتِ is applied to a man, as meaning Vehement of voice: and in like manner to a hawk.
