صَيْدَانٌ Copper: (L, K: see also صَادٌ:) and gold: [but this seems to be taken from the following passage in the T:] in the stone-cookingpot (البُرْمَة) there is sometimes [what is termed] صَيْدَانٌ and صَيْدَآءُ , in which is an appearance like the glistening of gold and silver; and the best is that which is like gold: so says AA. See also art. صدن.
