ضَجُوعٌ

Full Definition

ضَجُوعٌ A water-skin (قِرْبَةٌ) that makes the drawer of water to lean by reason of its heaviness.
2 A wide دَلْو [or leathern bucket]; as also ضَاجِعَةٌ .
3 A cloud (سَحَابَةٌ) slow by reason of the abundance of its water.
4 A well (بِئْرٌ) hollowed in the sides, the water having eaten its interior.
5 A she-camel that pastures aside.
6 A wife contrarious to the husband. (Ibn-'Abbád, O, K. [See also أَضْجَعُ.])
7 And A man weak in judgment; as also مَضْجُوعٌ .
