ضَحْيَانٌ

Full Definition

ضَحْيَانٌ , which should by rule be ضَحْوَانٌ, Anything exposing itself, or being exposed, to the sun. قُلَّةٌ ضَحْيَانَةٌ means [A mountain-top] exposed to the sun: occurring in a saying of Taäbbata-sharrà. And عَصًا ضَحْيَانَةٌ A staff, or stick, growing in the sun so as to be matured thereby, and extremely hard.
