ضمّخهُII , Verbal.Noun تَضْمِيخٌ; and , Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun ضَمْخٌ; He daubed, or smeared, him, or his body, with perfume, or some odoriferous or fragrant substance, copiously, so that it seemed to drip. It is said in a trad., كَانَ يُضَمِّخُ رَأْسَهُ بِالطِّيبِ He [Mohammad] used to daub, or smear, his head copiously with perfume.
